Campaign Story

A little background on our family. My husband and I have been together for 15 years, married for 9 years. We already have 3 wonderful kiddos Ages 14, 12 and 10. 2 girls and 1 boy. Our oldest is a smart cookie, our middle child is a sweet kind boy and my youngest is a sassy but sweet girl. We have a household full of pets. 2 dogs, 4 parakeets, a tortoise and many tarantulas. What can I say we’re animal lovers.

Who knew that 10 years after my Adiana procedure I would want to start the process of having another baby. We’ve been hoping the tubal ligation has lost its effect. I’ve read stories where pregnancy has happened after a ligation. But my doctors appointment crushed that hope.

On Jan 4th I had an appointment that put a small bump in that journey. I was told that due to the procedure that I had I would not be able to get it reversed. I was young when I had it done. Thinking back now I would have held off on having it done. My doctor told me there’s a huge risk by getting it reversed. I won’t go into the awful details.

I know that typically individuals who ask for help are individuals who have not had children but our situation is different but you would be helping out a family that has their heart set on making this a 6 person family.

We have decided to not go the cheap route due to wanting to have a higher success of adding a bundle of joy. I have done research (this is mostly due to my organization skills and wanting things to be in order) on many locations and we have found a perfect fit for us in North Carolina. We’ve been trying everything to get money raised but COVID has hit our family and depleting our savings. I’m getting back out there and working a 2nd job and selling items we no longer need but we’re a long way from meeting our goal.
